How we change your filter sand

Inspect on site
We check filter pressure, sand condition, multiport function and pump performance to confirm the sand really is the issue.

You receive a written, itemised quote covering the sand change and any laterals or multiport repairs your filter needs.

Drain and open
The filter is isolated, drained and opened. Old sand is bagged out cleanly so no debris ends up in the pump room or pool.

Inspect laterals
Laterals, standpipe, multiport gaskets and the inside of the filter shell are inspected and replaced where they have failed.

Refill and seal
The correct grade silica sand is loaded in over a coarse support layer where required, then the multiport is reseated and sealed.
